Near the bottom, 'drop shadows under icon labels'. With that on, the background of the icon label is transparent, with a shadow, to show the wallpaper background through it. If it is off, the label shows on a rectangle of the 'background color' set at Display - Desktop (the Color patch on the right).

So, when you put up wallpaper on your desktop, the icon labels still have the current desktop color as their background. Is there any way to get the wallpaper to "show through" the labels? Also, Is there any way to change the label text color/font? Thanks, Mike.

That is no big deal when using GPOs and setting active desktop. However we also want the workstations' desktop icon labels to be transparent. This seems to be a problem.
